Mads Bendt, CEO of bendt
“There’s a great palette of things I would like to do but the palette is too big to do everything on it. So you have to choose, pick out and figure out what you want the most and then do that”,
says Mads who in bendt works directly at improving quality of life at several levels.

Early in life Mads experienced that the fastest way to move forward is to accept and take starting point in what is now when he at age 19 crashed with a hang glider and broke his neck. This also meant that he at a quite young age became head of his own helper staff and with the mind and enthusiasm of a fighter he has risen to become CEO of his own company. It has been a road of many steps where the first of the decisive ones was Aalborg University from where he became a bachelor in engineering, mechanical science. It was here he developed a wheelchair with adjusted technology for the developing countries, bamboo and bicycle wheels.
After this Mads has among other things worked as a system consultant at Merkantildata A/S and as an IT consultant at Arla Foods. Furthermore he was founder, partner bridge builder and CEO of Hovedkontoret ApS before he left the company to found bendt ApS.
Mads is married to Christine with whom he has the two daughters Emilie and Emma. Mads spends a lot of his spare time taking a MBA at Aarhus School of Business and as a member of VL35, DDFO
